Abandoned Candles

The candle image is a still life drawing I did using charcoal. I took a picture of the finished piece and imported it into Photoshop for painting. I pictured these candles sitting in the fireplace of an old castle or mansion. Appearing like the surroundings aged around them but the candles sustained their beauty. Almost appearing untouched.
